We are all a product of our pasts. The biggest influences on how Jon performs his role are:

• a decade as teacher, spending all day every day working on the communication skills of groups of adults, 4 to 25 strong
• six years as a professional web developer
• IT management roles since 2006
• years volunteering for a mental health helpline (does a lot for your listening skills)
• a degree in Philosophy

Jon is now proudly an ex-Scrumdamentalist, and would like nothing more than to share his learnings with others. His approach can be seen in this series of articles.
